Artist Statement:

My work focuses on using post-consumer recycled container glass to create innovative and provocative designs. Pieces include lighting (sconces and table lamps), counter tops, window panels, giftware, and sculpture. I practice alchemy with glass. By taking what is essentially considered waste (empty bottles- wine, beer, and food containers), I transform it using variations on conventional studio processes to create beautiful and otherworldly designs that have biological or geological connotations.
