Artist Statement:

I design all kinds of textiles here in my Charlottesville studio. Working on an 8-harness Gilmore loom and using traditional weaving methods and ancient patterns, I make cloth of all sorts. My raw materials are yarns ranging from organic, naturally-colored cottons, to wool, silk, rayon and bamboo. Sequins, beads, ribbon and vintage and glass buttons often find their way into my finished work. If you are looking for a woven wrap, a cropped jacket, a warm blanket, garlands, crowns, or something for your table, my studio is your kind of place. Commissions and inventions are welcome.
