Artist Statement:

I have a passion for the way light dances across the surface of the world. When light tangos with stained glass, it becomes my medium of artistic expression. Through this medium, I can experience the variation and nuance of color, the sensuality of line and form with a single minded intensity. The process of coaxing this art into existence is a challenge on so many levels. It flows from a burst of inspiration to a slow meditation of precise and careful hand work. Each moment of creating a piece of glass art is measured step by step in a journey of discovery and satisfaction. My art is driven by intention and is energized by its own emergence into the world. My hope is that the completed works will transport the viewer and bring them as much joy in the viewing as it was for me in the creating.
